Building Bridges.

31st of October. Today i did a reading activity, We got some words and decided if they were real or not.
Real words:
quail snail nail sail tail pail boom loom room zoom broom beat neat seat heat.
Fake words: shail kail wail dail foom goom ploom swoom deat pleat cleat pag nag sag.

Bridges

Type of bridge	Photo	Features
Example: Beam		Rigid horizontal structure 2 supports at each end
Arch		2 Concrete supports. White wooden fences, so you don't fall off.
Beam		It is flat so it's a beam bridge it has ropes to Make it safer and it Also has fences
beam		A beam bridge is a  Flat bridge and it is Not steep and is more stable. It has hand shaped supports.
Arch		This arch bridge is over water and has fences that don’t connect to each other.
Beam		This bridge is curved. .In this picture you can see only one support. The bridge has a big tower on it  The big tower has ropes to support the brigde.

Bubble science introduction.

I found out a way to make bubbles with your hands like this and put dishwashing liquid and blow it and you will get bigger bubbles! 

The things you will need.

. 1 pipe cleaner

. 3 buckets

.1 measuring cup

.1 tablespoon measures

.1 liquid dishwashing soap

. water

. Glycerin or glucose syrup

. light corn syrup

. dishwashing liquid

Steps taken.

• 1   take a pipe cleaner shape it into a bubble wand
• 2  write 1 on one bucket write 2 on a bucket and write 3 on the third bucket
• 3   put dishwashing liquid in a bucket and water
• 4   put Glycerin or Glucose syrup in a bucket and water
• 5   Put light corn syrup in a bucket and dishwashing liquid (with water)
• 6   Dip the bubble wand in one of them
• 7   Blow bubbles
• 8   Count how long they lasted
• 9   See what bucket has the best mix

This is the Maori numbers i dd with Lisa Marie.

I learnt the Maori numbers  teen numbers and te numbers .

We learnt about takau ma a pattern the Maori teens. And the Takau the numbers in the tens scales.

First we did a race who can get all the numbers up to 10 first. But in Maori. This is maori numbers up

to 20. Then we played Maori bingo she called out the Maori numbers  and we put the blocks on the numbers she called out.

Process

Put number 1 on the first bucket put light corn syrup in it
Put number two on the second bucket put Glycerin or Glucose syrup in it
Put number three on the third bucket put dish washing liquid in it
Make one pipe cleaner into a bubble wand
Dip the bubble wand into number one then two and then three

The one that works the best in the winner.

Hey! Are you wondering what i did on wensendy june 2019?

 Your probably  not because (ummm thats creepy)… But just in case…. I am going to tell you i say with a big smile. So the first animal we saw was.. Drum roll please.. An african wild dog! What´s that? It´s not exciting? Well youll change your mind when i tell you a little more about them. So they are the most dangorus animal in the zoo!!! Wonder why? Well they hunt in groups which makes them stronger. So they are VERY fast it takes them about uh… maybe half an hour? To take down half of  the whole heard. Now QUICK fun fact peragain falcons are faster than cheaters. OKAY the next animal we saw was ostriches I know i should just skip them.. BUT i don´t want to skip them because theyŕe the THIRD fastest animal to live on earth. OKAY next animal orangitangs yes them and there was nothing to specil about them….. The end hope you like this post uh.. Should i say bye or would that be awkward eh.. Bye!

The Flying pig….

Hey! Do you believe in dragons?

Well if you don’t this is the perfect story for you! 

Don’t you think dragons look like flying pigs? Well…
I do! This story may seem weird but this is the story of one dragons life….
There once was a little girl her name was Izzy and she was 10
and she believed in dragons.
She wanted to be a dragon but there was a problem…
She had no friends because everyone seemed rude to her because she was
“weird” and her parents loved her too.
But whenever she asked if dragons were real they would say…
“Oh honey.. Dragons aren’t real…
Soon you will know that dragons don’t exist..” “ But mum….?”
The  next day she went to school everyone called her Flying pig 

Chapter 2. Dragons?

2 years later……

She is now 12 and Izzy STILL believes in dragons
one day at school she got so sick and mad at people calling her flying pig
and sick of people bullying her because of her believing in dragons.
That one day she TURNED into a dragon… Every one yelled “CALL 111!!!!” 
She was teleported into a magical land with unicorns dragons and griffins…

Chapter 3..... A New World.
A Griffin came  up to Izzy and said "are you new here? My name if Griffy"
" Yes I am new here my name is Izzy. Oh and how did you get here?"
"Everyone here got here the same way me and you did."
"wait you mean getting bulled?" said Izzy "yes" said Griffy "lets take you to the leader of this place." "OK???" said Izzy 2 HOURS LATER they were there this leader was a unicorn named olive '' Hi olive.. i am new here..'' said Izzy ''hmm whats you're name?'' says olive ''izzy'' says Izzy '' hm mm i changed everyones name here so you need a new name.. hm icy because you're an ice dragon.'' 
'' okay'' says Izzy  '' wait aren't we the only three here?'' says Griffy ''yes'' says olive 

Chapter 4 what everyone looks like

Olive is a white unicorn with a gold horn and a rainbow main with pink eyes

Icy  is a dragon with light blue shiny scales blue eyes dark blue horns and tail with white wings.

Griffy is a brown griffen with a white eagle head and her paws are eagle claws and she has white wings and a yellowish orange lion tail

Help.. Please..

AH A SHARK IS EATING MY HAND! This is my
Matariki fish i call it a shark because
it looks more like a shark then a fish. Its name is Toothless because its a shark with NO TEETH but still its bite hurts. Help me....
To me its eyes look like its undead for some reason? HELP!
MAYDAY!! MAYDAY!! MAN OFF BORED!!

The wheels began turning, as my heart begins pounding,
my knees start shaking , but before I could speak WHOOSH!
The roller coaster makes some big downhill turns,
up and down up and down up and down left and right and left and right.
My eyes widened and I started shaking.
“AHHHHH” I yelled. Something was shaking my toes,
it went up to my knees and then my hips and shoulders!
My hair even flung up!
I’m still going down but suddenly I start going UP AND UP AND UP!
I felt sick and was about to vomit. I couldn’t help but scream “ HELP”
I yelled again. Suddenly the roller coaster stopped and I was safe at last!

what if the dog combs mine. I just washed mine.

What if the dog goes shopping for a new comb. Will I have to come?

What if a bomb explodes in the house.

What if the dog and my brain go shopping together will I be able to think?

the world gets invaded by dogs that want to comb your hair? It's going to be really scary

Once Upon a Time there was one mother with a beautiful blonde pup but one day a pack of Mega wolves came a female black wolf was the leader of the Pack by the time they got there both packs started to fight if the omega pack won they would take over the pack the other pack surrendered 5 years later the pup grew up and beautiful blonde fur has faded into white her she she was now the leader of the Pack her father has to been the leader of the there and the omega pack was back!....
